Whipped Sweet Potatoes

Serves 6

Ingredients: 
  • 4 large sweet potatoes
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Steen’s Cane Syrup
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Method: 

Peel sweet potatoes, cut into large cubes and boil until soft. In a mixing bowl, mash potatoes with the rest of ingredients. Using enough butter is essential and don't be afraid to add pepper it is a surprising addition to this dish.
Keep warm until ready to serve.
