Merry Christmas from sunny Los Angeles! I'm helping my sister-in-law prepare for her annual Christmas Eve family party, we'll spend Christmas day with her daughter and two grandchildren; the oldest is over the moon excited. We went to dinner Tuesday night after arrival; my husband passed his Santa hat off to Tommy, much to his delight. He ho-ho-ho'd to everyone who'd listen for the rest of the evening, with his face alight.

Saturday, as it turns out, my sister and niece are in San Diego visiting friends and are going to drive up to have lunch with me; hopefully, another friend will be able to join us. Lunch somewhere along the beach. Back to New Orleans on Sunday, back to work on Monday, but meanwhile, I'm really enjoying the break.

Thus, the abbreviated newsletter this week -- below you'll find a list of the most-viewed recipes on our website over the holiday season, and a list of the most-shared recipes, either on Pinterest, Facebook, emailed to friends, or via other social media. I hope you find some inspiration, enjoy some great meals with family and friends, and relax into the new year. Speaking of, here's a link to my annual feature on what to eat on New Year's Day to ensure a healthy, wealthy, and happy new year.
