My sister and niece fly in for a short visit tomorrow and we're really looking forward to catching up. We've not seen them since last fall, and that was a really short trip, so it's time. My niece is professionally trained in the culinary arts and I intend to put her to work in the kitchen -- a little bit of finishing touches on the current issue, and a big look forward to Comfort Food for the fall, and yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus, it's time to lay the groundwork for the 7th annual Holiday Food Guide. Nothing quite like cooking Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner in August...
