Peppered Pecans

Serves 4 to 6

Recipe courtesy of "The Tabaco Brand Cookbook"

Ingredients: 
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups pecans halves

Method: 

Preheat oven to 250 F.

In small skillet melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic, Tabasco sauce and salt and cook for a minute, give it a stir.

Toss the pecans and spread teh nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Stirring occasionally, bake until pecans are crisp - about one hour.
